How we keep the two sides apart
Administering programmes for insurers and preparing claims for policyholders are both claims work, and both need the same thing: the terms read properly and applied as written. We keep them apart in practice: we do not prepare a policyholder's claim on a programme we administer, and we do not act for an insurer or adjuster on a claim we are preparing.
It is the same discipline either way — and the reason a programme run by eClaim pays what it should, and a claim prepared by eClaim asks for what the policy provides and no more.
